Senior Field Application Engineer

For our office in Sunnyvale, California, we are searching for a successful and experienced field application engineer to support the OneSpin sales team. Responsible for helping existing and new customers, support, evaluate, adopt and use OneSpin verification products in the assigned territory. Provide credibility in presenting solutions for verification technology to design engineers, verification engineers and project managers. The candidate should be senior in a way that he/she is not only technical excellent but also mature & able to talk to customers, coach & advise customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct technical pre-sales support for OneSpin verification products, in the context of a strong technical understanding of the complete verification flow
  • Manage strategic customer evaluations/benchmarks on OneSpin verification solutions to establish technology differentiation and assert OneSpin's competitive advantages
  • Assist customers in adopting OneSpin technology by providing verification methodology and tool knowledge to design and verification engineers, validated through successful implementation
  • Drive best practices and lessons learned from delivering training, benchmarks and customer interactions back to OneSpin product R&D
  • Build understanding of the customer's needs and also of the competition's technology and sales strategies
  • Perform methodology assessments, improve existing design methodologies and develop new ones that leverage OneSpin technologies and services
  • Acquire new and advanced formal concepts and apply them to solve customer verification challenges
  • Work closely with the OneSpin sales team to provide optimal pre and post sales support
  • Drive product adoption, and collect and report tool improvements or additional new tool features from customer
  • Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, seminars and trainings to customers

Requirements:

  • BS or MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with experience in RTL design and verification
  • Solid background of IC design and IC verification methodologies/flows
  • Knowledge of modelling & simulation of digital circuits, experience of systems engineering
  • Understanding of semiconductor technologies, physical implementation of IC's, ASIC design flow & system on chip design
  • Understanding of formal methods and their application, formal verification experience and working knowledge of assertion based verification (ABV) will be considered a plus
  • Working knowledge of Verilog, SV, SVA and VHDL
  • Strong communication skills to interact with R&D and customers
  • A minimum of four years relevant pre and post sales technical support experience in a similar position would be ideal
  • Ability to execute autonomously a task on a remote customer site for extended periods of time
  • Readiness to travel, also international
